Privacy Policy
BeautifyOS (“we”, “us”) provides salon management software: online booking, calendars, checkout and client management for beauty businesses. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and the rights you have over it. It applies to beautifyos.com, to salon websites and booking pages powered by BeautifyOS, and to the BeautifyOS application.
Two roles, one policy
When a salonsigns up for BeautifyOS, we are the data controller for the salon's account data. When a client books an appointmentat a salon through BeautifyOS, that salon is the controller of its client records and we process the data on the salon's behalf, to run bookings, reminders and checkout for that salon.
What we collect
- Salon accounts: business name, contact details, staff names and logins, services, prices and opening hours.
- Client bookings: name, phone number, email address, appointments booked, and notes the client chooses to leave.
- Client logins: the email used to sign in, whether directly or through Google or Facebook. We receive only your name and email from those providers — never your password or contacts.
- Purchases at the salon: what was bought and paid, for the salon's invoices and accounting. BeautifyOS does not store card numbers.
- Technical basics: logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
What we use it for
- Running bookings: showing real availability, confirming appointments, and linking visits to the right client card.
- Messages about appointments — confirmations and reminders. Marketing messages are sent only where the client has given the salon consent, and that consent is recorded.
- Payments, invoices and business reporting for the salon.
- Keeping the platform secure and improving how it works.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use client data to advertise to clients.
Where it lives
Data is stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase) in the European Union where available. Authentication is provided by Supabase; when you sign in with Google or Facebook, those providers process your login under their own policies.
How long we keep it
Salon data is kept while the salon's account is active. Client records belong to the salon; clients can ask their salon to correct or delete their card, and salons can delete client records from within BeautifyOS. Deleting a client card does not erase the salon's legally required financial records.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Clients should contact their salon first, as the controller of their records; we support salons in answering these requests. You can also contact us directly, and you have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
BeautifyOS uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the service secure. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
