The essentials
Fill in the salon’s details
Name, address, phone and email. These appear on your booking page, in confirmation emails and on receipts, so write them the way you want a client to read them.
Set your opening hours
Per day, with a closed switch for the days you do not open. A closed day gets no column in the week view and is never offered online.
Set your timezone and currency
Every time in the product is worked out in your salon’s timezone, so a client booking from abroad still sees your local hours.
Worth knowing. Set the currency before you start taking money. It decides how every figure, past and future, is displayed.
Set your tax rate
Under Taxes and fees. From the moment it is set, every sale records tax, and it appears on the receipt and in the Revenue and tax panel.
Booking rules
Add a buffer between appointments
A few minutes after each visit for clean-down. Online booking respects it, so the next client is never offered the minute the last one finishes.
Decide how far ahead clients can book
And how close to the time. Stopping online bookings an hour before the slot keeps someone from booking while they are already walking through the door.
Turn deposits on where you need them
Set a deposit on the long, expensive treatments. It is taken when the booking is made and comes off the bill at checkout.
