Help centre · Set the salon up

Add your team and set what they can see

Specialists, working hours, the treatments each one does, and who is allowed into the admin panel.

Add someone

  1. Press + Add staff

Enter their name and email. Give them a colour — that colour is how their column and their appointment cards are identified everywhere in the calendar.

  2. Choose their access level

Owner sees everything including the earnings. Manager runs the day and the calendar. Staff sees their own schedule and clients, and cannot open the admin panel at all.

Worth knowing. Access is enforced on the server, not merely hidden in the menu. A stylist who types the dashboard address is sent to their own app instead.

  3. Pick the treatments they do

Tick only what this person actually performs. Online booking offers a specialist for a treatment only if it is ticked here.

  4. Set their working hours

Their hours sit inside the salon’s opening hours. Someone who starts at eleven will not be offered at nine, even on a day the salon opened at nine.

Invitations, commission and time off

  1. Send the invitation

Press Invite staff and they get an email with a link to set their own password. Until they accept, the row shows as pending.

  2. Set a commission rate

A percentage on the staff member’s record makes Accounting work out what each person is owed on completed visits. Leave it blank if you do not pay commission.

  3. Record time off

Holidays and days off block the calendar and remove those times from online booking, so nobody can book a specialist who is away.

  4. Switch someone off when they leave

Set their status to inactive. Their history, sales and commission stay intact; they simply stop appearing in the calendar and can no longer sign in.
